Yep. As mentioned suffering from chronic LBA, I have lots of choices, but this trio really is a great combination. The fact that we have two limiteds to take care of the wider end of the range is very nice, and the 55-300 PLM is just hard to beat. I know some talk about a falling off of sharpness at 300mm, but my copy seems sharp all the way through, and it's so quick to focus. My walk includes sitting on a bench looking over a river and chasing birds, and it is perfect for that.

Glad you are happy with the kit you have now. The 20-40mm is a very nice lens indeed though the copy I had didn't focus quite right.

The 15mm is a nice lens and very compact but not an ultra-wide. Ultra-wide lenses are 20mm or less in FF equivalent so on APS-C you'd need a 13mm or less. However, it's a good addition to a 20-40mm as it give you a significantly wider fields of view. I had the Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 and optically it was much better than the 15mm but I sold it and kept the Limited largely because I like the DA Limiteds' form factor and build quality so much.

I love taking pictures
But hate hate carrying gear, never used to, used to carry 2 FF bodies and a full selection of lenses plus speedlites.

But now as I get older I find Id rather have a smaller body and a maximum of 2 lenses plus extra battery.

Im sure the K1ii is amazing but the thought of hauling that everywhere is the stuff of nightmares for me.

Well of course, I still have my Q7 and a nice set of lenses for that. I took it to a renfaire last spring and brought back good pics, but also was frustrated at times trying to get it pointed at subjects I could barely see in the LCD out in the daylight. (I didn't take the Hoodman loupe, but that gadget has its own nuisance factor anyhow.)

Now I have a K-S1 and some compact lenses. . . DA 3.2/21 Ltd, DA 2.4/70 Ltd and an old F 2.8/28. That 28mm is my favorite, even though it's an ugly plastic thing with a (Pentax branded!) collapsible rubber hood. Somehow it looks fine on the equally quirky K-S1. I have a simple rope shoulder strap for the camera; it's easy to carry and have hands free when I'm not using it.

Oh, I also have the 20–40mm Ltd, which almost seems too big and clunky by comparison.
