Pentax K30D body design!

What would u like to see in the new body if any?

1.pro body

2. small body with a separate grip.

3. old designs back.

I love the old mz-s design!

You know, that mirror looks full frame sized, Is It?

It just dawned on me that mirror looks bigger than aps-c mirror.

Was this pentax prototype a full frame dslr?

I think this is a photoshop job.

My vote is for a small camera with detached grip, FF if possible.

Move the AF motor and flash to the grip (i.e. make them optional).

It is the MZ-D with a "K1" photoshopped on to it.

The MZ-D was full frame.

I'd like K10/20 size with an optional grip.

I second that. Keep the same body.

Awesome idea in age of SDM. Off-load legacy AF drive to optional grip. Other than that, keep body the same.

What I really dislike is a subject with an "!" in it, such as "Pentax K30D body design!" implying that you have some information, only to find out that this is another pointless "what do you want to see in this design?" thread.

Dpreview as well.

And this very thread is neither news or a rumour for which this forum should imply

Moved to DSLR discussion, I agree this isn't news or a rumour, just a discussion of what people may like to see in a Pentax DSLR ;-)

On topic the FF MZ-D did look pretty cool..

I would like to see a little bit bigger grip but with the same body. For me the grip is great but a little bit small for my hand and One of my fingers finish outside the bottom of the kamera(better with the battery-grip for me).
So I would like to see the same grip but a little bit larger.
A little bit more like the canon 40&50d....but just the grip, and not the rest.

In this way the camera would need a new battery-grip too...and that could be a very good thing for pentax and us to do in the same time they drop a new camera
The battery-grip for k20d now is very nice but a good thing can always be better

anyone had the same problem with that One of the fingers finish outside the bottom of the kamera??

Regards Emil
