K10d LCD screen

Is it possible to make the lcd screen brighter? I am finding when shooting in raw the playback is much darker than the actual image. This means a lot of the time i am changing the exposure/f/stop only to find when i get home the original shot was the right one and the others have been over exposed!

Have played with the settings but cannot find a way to do it?

Many thanks
Phil

Page 195 of the K10D manual. Go to the menu and select the sub menu "settings". Second choice is Brightness. But use the LCD as a reference along with the histogram if need be. Don't make critical shooting evaluations based on the LCD.
