Solar Eclipse

Quick advice- any tips for shooting a total solar eclipse? Lucky me, i get to experience my first one on Monday, but I havn't a clue how to shoot it without injuring myself or the camera.

You'll need an assistant.
2 pieces of cardboard.
Pin hole in centre of one.
Hold card with hole above other card and move them apart until the image of the sun focuses through the hole.
Photograph the image on the bottom card.
Make a cool series as the moon's shadow passes over the sun.

Just remembered. We in Perth are the same longitude as Jakarta. We are having a partial eclipse as well. Will get my cardboard pin-hole camera going.
