Anyone know how to turn on the Infrared mode on the K20D?

Well, you could have been polite enough to let us answer, if for no reason other than doing so would have allowed us to look up something else in the manual once again.

The K20D has an infrared mode?

could someone explain for those that do not know.

It's not really an actual camera mode, KungPOW. Instead, it's an in-camera digital filter applied to an image to simply simulate the look of a B&W infrared film. It's one of six "Filter Effect" options available when you select "BW" under the "Custom Image" option within the K20D's Function (Fn) menu.

Well that's something I missed in the manual, I thought he might mean the infra red remote controller settings.

Ooh oh, I've got one! Why are the wireless flash options sometimes greyed out?

LOL. Actually, that (the remote control) might have actually been what the OP was asking about. He doesn't really say, leaving the discussion to wander into just about anything infared related. KungPOW mentioned an infrared mode, prompting my response to that.

What lens are you using? It doesn't work with all lenses.

Sorry Stewart! I posted that and waited several hours and no one responded. I finally googled it and found out that it was in the B&W settings. I appreciated your willingness to help.
