Hello!

I have to know what firmware I have to download to my k20d, for it to work without misstakes.

I have been seen a lot about upgrade firmware but what problems do it solve on the k20d? and does it add any bugs as well (any firmware did).

Is the new verson of the firmware always the best, or do you guys have any recommendation?

I want to install it before start use my k20d at the first time.
I hope it can solve the commun problems because if my first photo with k20d will be all black...I will not be happy

Cameras, don't really have bugs like that in firmware. If your first pictures are black out of the box, it is usually something wrong with the camera not the firmware. Most firmwares will fix just minor problems not major issues. The Pentax K20D has only had one firmware upgrafe and the details are listed here.

Normally, a quick search would have found you the same information that I just posted. Try that as a first option when you have a question.

if it is all black when you click the shutter. Just remember to remove the lens cap.
