Happy K20d users post here!!

Hello!

Lately I have been looking a lot of people complain about their k20d.
Main problems seams to be sharpness, focus, black frame (blackout) and any more smaller problems.

I will recive my brand new K20d today and I want it to work well, but I have been scared of all problems it seams to have.

Then I started to understand. People that don't have any problems with their k20d will not post about it and tell everyone about how happy you are with it.

Sure it's a lot of happy k20d users here, but there is one negative side!

I'm sure you all have been notice how many guest-visitors we have on the forum every day. This people may be persons looking for buy pentax cameras and looking here for advice before they go to the store.

But the information that meets them here is a lot negative information about Pentax k20d. I would not buy a camera like pentax k20d if I saw all this information about problems.

The K20d is not a bad camera and if we want pentax to be able to improve so we can get better products in the future, it may be a good idea to start speak about the positive things about k20d and tell the world about it.

Everyone of you that are a happy k20d owner and don't have too much problems with it, please post it here.

I will....after try out my k20d today of course

Please feel free to share your (this time) good news

Best Regards

Emil

PS:
(I don't mean that you can't post a question about your k20d if you have a problem. This forum is created for solve problems!! I only want us to post good things as well, so we and visitors not only look the bad side of it all)

Love my K20D

Autofocus adjustment alone makes it a star. Here's some fairly recent photos with it...

All shot RAW and converted in Lightroom...

I absolutely love these two. Wish there were more in the "series". I started to tell a story, but then I was disappointed to see that there are only two shots.

Yep, you are right. It seems only bad news surface... but I am quite happy with my K20D.

I could upload hundreds of pictures, but I guess would be too much bragging and a lot of bandwith usage.

I can't say I have any complaints with my K20D, mind you I turned off the auto focus from day 1, mainly I consider that feature fails to take into consideration what the photographer is trying to achieve and I suspect regardless of brand, make or model, that same issue would occur.

Love the top photos. Ansel Adams would have been proud.
