Firmware update for K10D

Could someone please tell me exactly how to install it? I have downloaded the bin file for V1.30 and tried to copy it to the memory card as instructed. This doesn't work, despite the card folder showing the copied file. Nothing happens when I put the card in the camera-there is no download or anything else happening. Why???

The card is a formatted 1gb SD Card.

The file needs to be in the root of the directory, not a seperate folder.

Could that be it.?? I have never had a problem with firm ware updates.
