K100D reviews

Currently my only digital camera is Panasonic DMC FZ2, I need to upgrade, but the pana FZ50 don't convinces me. I am decided to go dSLR and get the K100D. I have seen good photos and reviews, as:

The October 2006 issue of Popular Photography magazine has an excellent review of the K100D. Very favorable for the camera.

Disregard their silly complaint about battery life. The testers were using alkaline batteries. My 2700 mah Powerex rechargable NiMH batteries are over 400 shots in the camera and still going strong.

I actually use CRV3s and am up to 700 odd and still going on the first set.. Going on the D I would think I should get over 1000.. Will report back when they finally run out ;-0

To the OP, I went from man FZ20 to the DS and it was a major upgrade IMO, don't iss the pana at all.. Since then I got a D and K100d, and would heartedly recommend the K100d..
