Asahi Pentax 1:2 50mm Lens

Can I use this lens on my 200D without an adaptor? And is it worth the 50$ CAD I'm going to pay?

I generally see those on the forums for about $20 USD in the market place for the -M version. $50 CAD seems high, unless it is pentax-A?
If it is a takumar, that also seems a bit high and it will require an adapter.

The faster lenses are much more useful at the lower f values from what I have gathered on these forums. I would out for either a faster M-1.7 in that price range or save up for an F/FA version if you want autofocus.

most likely this is the Pentax A 50 f/2
$50 CAD is very reasonable if the lens is in good shape. you will not need an adapter with this lens and it is one of my all time favorite lens.
it used to be a kit lens for the k1000 so some time its underrated. but I never heard anything bad about this lens only good things

And focusing may not be easy unless you have an after market focusing screen. Not sure what the 200 is like but it takes some getting use to when focusing with the normal focus screen of the K10 and a lens such as this.
There are a few other thread that can offer advice and help in that department.

You'll also have to read up on how to use manual exposure lenses (assuming this isn't the "A" version) - Google "pictorial guide manual lenses Pentax" and check out the thread on dpreview.
