Right eye vs. Left eye

Hey,

I kind of want to know what most people do. When looking through the viewfinder, do you use your right eye, or left eye?

Thanks,

-Isaac

depends on where the light (e.g. the sun) is. I use the one which gives me a brighter
picture in the viewfinder. Simply using my face as a shade.

I'm moving more to more left eye now - its got the better vision, and as my eyesight deterioates (even with diopter adjustment and focus aids) the left has the advantage......

Was a right eye but have developed some failure in my right eye, so I switched. It took about 3000 actuations to become comfortable using my left eye - now it seems natural. One benefit is I can better support the camera with both hands shooting left eye - so I gain a stop.

Same here as well. Use my left eye 99% of the time.
My left eye has more MP and better in-camera jpeg quality.

Wow, I'm kinda surprised at all the left-eyed people.

My left eye is way stronger than my right, but I do find it more comfortable to use the camera with my right eye in the viewfinder. Nose sits well off to the side, etc.

I keep trying to use my left, but reflex goes to the right. I'll try harder!

it's interesting very few people use both eyes(not at the same time of course) like me

off topic-that picture is made during a walkaround of the plane. It's part of my work
Ricoh Gx-100 24mm wide compact was the camera. Definitely smaller than my K200 to carry around everyday in my bag.
