Thanks for the link, Ben. Enjoyed the interview very much. Warning to others: Don't be put off by the interviewer's awkwardness at the start. Fortunately, after the first minute or two, the interviewer has the good sense to let Ben do nearly all the talking. ;-)

Thought of the recent thread here about doing weddings when you told how you got yourself into your first photo shoot with a model (and in the process learned the word "test").

I already cut and paste that from the XML once I figured it out. Interesting interview.

Ben, anyone that fanatical about what they do deserves to succeed. I think my biggest failing in life was that I never did anything for a living that I cared that much about and its quite humbling to appreciate the qualities you need (including confidence) to make it at the top.

Fanaticism (or at least determination) is great, of course. But I suspect that talent helps, too. ;-)

Funny how you don't sound like I had imagined, but then nobody here probably does! That was quite cool, apart from the interviewer!

Did I sound like "Woody Allen?"

Part 2 and 3 should be up soon. This is where I talk about my migration to Pentax...

Ben,

Excellent and enlightening interview. I thought you handled yourself in a top notch manner. You were pretty damn funny too. Great sense of humor and outstanding stories.

Phil's Interview With Me

I really want to come to Phil's defense here as an interviewer. I can be a very overbearing and extremely inconsiderate at times. I didn't leave too much room for Phil to comment on what I was speaking about. He was just overwhelmed by the interview and did what an interviewer should do and that is let the guest Fly...As you all now know, I can take up allot of room...

I thought I would say this, as he is a Hell of a Nice Human Being...

Well, this time I can't make it work. There's a headline announcing the BK interview, part 2. But the link is labeled "part 1". I've tried modifying the URLs but I can't seem to get to part 2 of the interview. ;-(
