K20D help

Hi, folks,

I got my new K20D on Friday. It is my first DSLR camera. I just test the dust alert function, and the result show two significant dust. Is it normal? and the dealer sold a old one to me?

I was very careful when I attached the lens.

Thanks so much

You can shake the sensor a couple of times using the dust removal feature of the camera. If that doesn't work, you can get a rocket blower to dust the sensor with. They don't cost much, but it will be worth it to get one in the long run.

By the way, a lot of cameras do come with a bit of dust on the sensor. I'm not sure if it's leftover from the manufacturing process or not, but it does happen.

I hope you shot a blank sheet of paper when using dust alert.
