Not to be rocking the boat. I also love my K20D, but Best Buy has Nikon D200 for $599. If I had to choose again, I'd go for the D200.

Nikon - 10.2MP Digital SLR Camera - Body Only - D200 - Body Only

Good luck with your choice.

Eh? K20D is definitely prettier.

Maybe both. I waited for PMA. Perhaps, others did as well and it's a post-PMA phenomenon.

D200 over the K20D? Why? I've never really been impressed by the D200. To me, the D200 vs the K10D would be a closer comparison at that price.

How are the bodies' price even important when you spend 10X as much on lenses?

holding off for now

I know the Nikon D200 is at an attractive price and also offers weatherproofing, but check this out.

Does your D200 leak moisture inside? [Page 1]: Nikon D3 - D1 / D700 Forum: Digital Photography Review

You are not afraid of taking your K20D in the rain, or are you?

Anyway, I am obliged to tell you guys that I will be holding off on Pentax for now- at least till summertime.

I bought new glass for my silly little Canon Xti - 70-200 f/4L IS and will be enjoying it for a while. The lens is weatherproof but the body is not.

One thing is for sure though, I have become a Pentax fan - thank you for this community. I will continue to follow Pentax news, rumors, blogs, etc, and still have it as a goal to become a Pentaxian with a Pentax DSLR.

A K20D and DA*50-135mm combo would be the best offering, especially over the E-620.

If you delve deeper into the forum, you will find that the DA*50-135 is quite possibly the favourite zoom that people have, and I would agree, it is one excellent lens, its hardly off my K20D. Plus, you can still get (just) one of the best fiftys on the market (as mentioned on a lot of web sites) namely the FA50 F1.4.

Just go for the purchase, you will be delighted.
