Got a new camera - K200D silver

Hi all!
Today I bought the K200D Silver

It looks much nicer in real world than on pictures on the web

And good price to!! My local dealer have it for 3995 sek, thats about $440

I have upgraded from my old DL so it has happened a lot when it comes to functions and AF speed

I will post a few pics this weekend when I have taken it for a walk

If they had the K-m is silver I'd be super prone to buy that instead of the X70

Hi again!
Here are some pics from this weekend with my new camera

Its the last days of winter here in Swe so its really grey weather :/

Compared with my old DL there is lots of things to like

- K200 is so much faster, not just in AF speed - it just feel more responsive

Waking up from "sleep" is instantaneous

- The dynamic range is much improved compared to the DL
- The shutter is more quiet than the DL

Here is my new K200 with my old Mz-5n in the bg - the Mz-5n is one of the most beautiful cameras ever in my opinion

If i would use my old DL here, then I would hardly see the clouds in this pics. The dynamic range is really good in the K200

Nice bokeh with the DA70

You're right... the Silver finish on that body is beautiful. Certainly not as garish as the white KMs but different enough to stand out. It actually looks like a real camera.

My oldest Teen just got his White K-M, looks quite cool IMO, sitting right next to my K200D on the Mantle atm.

Silver looks nice too! Maybe my 2nd teen will go for one of those someday! LOL!. I'm old enough to remember when most cameras where silver here in the USA...

Well, I wouldn't mind to have to old ltd's in silver

But they are way out of my price range I'm afraid!
But I have an old FA 80-200 and I think it looks good on the camera

I have the Black K200D, my Oldest Son (19) just bought the White K-M. (only 500 in the USA..matches his Stormtrooper Themed '03 Passat W8 Variant)

He has his Kit lens on (came also with the 55-200) and as I was shooting some Little League games yesterday (have 4 boys) I have a Promaster 200mm F3.3 on mine.

His car...

His just arrived yesterday, still learning it but he's been shooting like crazy!
