currently this is not available,

I'd like this to be available.

for most parts, manual lenses need some adjustment ,
be it from metering, scene, and not forget,
the focusing screen, oh did get an LX screen,...split screen,...all the way from alaska,.... well the prism/mirror box on the k10d is smaller, anybody tried to cut the glass/focus screen,.... just kidding,...

this is something to send/request from pentax .

same thing for flash compensation,

one button, for camera compensation
one button for flash compensation,...

cheers, Robert

I am a newbie here. I believe that in M mode, the EV Bar works more like a light meter and informs your speed and aperture choices.

if pentax had done an electronic flash release, the flash button could have been used to help change flash compensation on the fly. instead they went with a mechanical system.

Sometimes it is useful to read the manual

Using the AE lock button in Manual mode you can record the exposure value. If you then change the shutter speed or aperture, the combination is retained!! So, if you have +1 overexposure, by pressing AE lock button you can change either shutter speed or aperture and the +1 will retain.

Pretty cool!!
