its not HDR in the sense that you get a 32-64bit image file that takes up your entire memory card as a result. its really compressed dynamic range.

Looks good. Better than Venturi's tree! (Sorry Venturi, couldn't resist!)
How many frames did you combine? And what were the EV adjustments?

Getting off topic but I see you're on Flickr- I just joined and frankly I'm disappointed. I thought it would be a place to see people's best work displayed (granted, there *are* some good photos); but mostly, anything that -does- catch your eye usually turns out to be HDR. Beyond that, people seem to want to clog up the site with snapshot-quality images that would be better suited to Facebook or MySpace.

Flickr's a good place to make contacts...some people are serious, and some not so.
Really depends what you're into.
Join some of the groups and browse the pics.

As for my pic, it's one shot only.
There was some neon lights around there, so I used daylight fluorescent white balance and then incresed the sensitivity when I processed it from RAW in-camera.

Tried similar with this, but had white balance on white fluorescent.

I tried this with 1 raw file and developed 5 jpgs from it with -1, -2, +1, +2 and 0 EV
Then I ran it through a trial version of dynamic photo - HDR software.
Don't think its true HDR (whatever that is), but any thoughts on the process?

Leaving it right there, I'd have to say that any point and shoot 35mm film camera will have MORE in camera HDR than any digital camera with which I am currently acquainted!
Now that isnít really true is itÖ
