I have the K100D and have been anticipating this lens. Today I saw a review that mentioned problems w/ autofocus using the K100D and the Tamron together. Is this a common problem or a single case?

I bought this lens, but I am not sure if I have put it on the K100D (used it a fair amount on the K10D).

You have me curious now! I will try it out, and look with interest to other comments!

Yes - I owned the Tamron 70-200 and K100DS together for a few months, and had absolutely no problems with the combo - it's a rather large lens on a small body, but I got great AF accuracy and pretty good speed from it on the K100DS.

This is from my Lake-dunked Tamron on K100DS, complete with tons of water marks on the elements (before I got it cleaned.)

200mm f/3.5

AF accuracy was on.
