On the K-m / K2000, the stop-down exposure procedure is slightly different than the K100D. On the K-m, it is set using the exposure-compensation button (+/-) on the top of the camera.
Since no exposure-compensation can be applied in "M" exposure mode, this button has a sensible secondary label of "Av" since pressing it temporarily shifts the exposure mode from "M" to "Av"
