what's cooking over there ? does not sound kosher.
anybody got some news ? what's your take?

Good news, I think. I doesn't sound like Hoya has any interest in serving Pentax SLR customers. Now I regret having bought that Hoya filter last week.

The bigger news to me is that the merger was cancelled. I hadn't heard that. Let's hope the buyout fails. I would rather be with a small company that respects it's customer than a big one that doesn't. A freindly merger may have provided the best of both worlds, but a takeover is likely not to. I guess we'll wait and see.

Don't worry..I've heard via the grapevine thet "Mo" Adam the Moderator of "PentaxForums" will be taking over as CEO of Pentax World...See, life is full of pleasant surprises.
