White Balance memory lapse...

I have aPentax K10D, and I feel certain that in the past I have been able to review a photo on the rear screen, and adjust the white balance until I get one that makes the photo appear as it should. I'm sure I've been able to do it in-camera. But I can't remember how to do it...HELP!

I don't have a K10D, but with my K200D...
  • In Playback mode, I can develop a RAW file (Fn, down) and choosing the white balance will preview the effect on the image I'm working with.
  • In capture mode, I can go to the white balance adjustment screen (Fn, left), then hit the DoF preview switch and get a current sample image to check adjustments with.
Is one of those what you're thinking of?
