aperture pusher does not work

In my K10 aperture pusher does not work. It was happened after using manual 50 F1.4
I think that service is necessary, but I would like to try repair it myself.
Did you opened K10 body to repair it? It is difficult?

exactly what mode are you in and with what lens.

pentax SLRs do not control the apature of manual lenses in other than manual mode. all other modes shoot wide open all the time

Me, I sent it to Pentax to be serviced. Better save than sorry.
There was a member here that fixed it himself. It involved removing the base plate, if I remember correctly.
I'm sure this would void your waranty.

This is what Ray Pulley wrote.
