Interesting that we live in the same area too (I live "down" here in Sonora...) televangelists to the lions? I'm in...

You live in Sonora?

I lived in Cali for three years(02-05)

My job took me up there for a year.

Beutiful! The mountains were one the most interestng places I ever visited and I was working up there as well!

Take a cooler of beer in with you as a decoy. They won't notice the camera.

In Australia the AFL (Australian Football League) put a ban on people from using long telephoto lenses.
You could use any camera, just not long lenses on a DSLR camera. (I would say it meant film to).
Although you can still use compact/bridge cameras, some of which have long lenses. The reason was because they contract out there photography rights to a stock agency so they can make a good amount of money from them.
They don't want just any old photographer making money from there game without themselves getting a piece of the pie. Getty use to have the exclusive rights to it and when there contract finnished an Australian stock agency took it over. Getty took the AFL to court over it but lost.

Sometimes you can get around situations like this with a smaller camera like the K-m with something like the Da40 attached, while your tele sits in a jacket pocket...
Drop that M80-200/A70-210/Viv S1 70-20 ver 2 etc into a Pringles chip canister lol
