Got my camera back from repair shop!

Thanks to everyone who responded to my post a couple weeks ago when the
LCD window on my K200D got cracked. Even though the camera worked fine,
I decided to go ahead and put it in for repairs. I looked on the Pentax website
and found an authorized repair shop (Camera Repair Japan) right here in the
metro Atlanta area. It was a bit pricey $170.00 for basically a plastic cover, but
they cleaned the CCD, did a general clean and check and adjusted the autofocus.
So, I feel it was more than worth it because I know everything on the camera works as it should now. I've seen many other forum members from the Atlanta
area in here, I would recommend these guys. It was nice to be able to drop off my camera in person talk to someone locally on the phone and pick it up in person.
Turnaround was only about 10 days. They called with an estimate about 2 days
after I dropped the camera off. I hope to get out and shoot this weekend. Will
post pics soon.

Thanks,
Bobby

Just picked a bargain for a K100D Super at a Ritz that is closing ($227 brand new body!). My K10D needs to go into the shop.

Glad to hear you had a pleasent experience and I have an idea of how much it will cost ( I have a severely cracked viewfinder).
I wanted them to do a tune up on mine as well like yours.

Now while my K10D is in the shop, I have my K100D Super to take pics.

Thanks for your post and starting this thread!
