Agreed. All your points are well taken. I was merely pointing out that it's not always cheaper to shoot digital over film, which many people seem to be touting as a universal truth. There are hidden costs in both (more with digital), and the digital evolution rate is far faster than it ever was with film. The subjective advantages of each format make it hard to rely on numbers alone.
