Pentax now has a brand new entry-level APS-C, and the brand new flagship K-7. They differ in price by almost a factor of 3. It would seem logical to me that the next camera will fill the gap between the km and the k-7.
Pentax is going small, durable and lightweight, without compromises. A 3-DSLR lineup of the k-m, K-7, and a camera in-between would seem to be logical given the direction they have indicated in interviews.
