Me too, and I only realize that now

I never thought about that. Left eye, right eye, what is the diference ?
Only now, after reading a lot of this left, right eye shooting "problem" I realize I shoot with my left eye with no problems .... Maybe because I might have a regular/small nose ?

At the Toronto show, Olympus had a fish-tank where their waterproof P&S's were displayed submerged. That was cool.

Last year they even have a guy underwater taking picture inside the tank

Great time meeting fellow Pentaxians, the folks at Pentax Canada. I think everything that can be said about the K-7 has already been said. All in all great atmosphere at the Booth. The DA15 was a real pleasure to use. Very sharp and great contrast!

You guys sure make that K-7 sound good. Hopefully Pentax have a intermediate planned between the K-7 and the K2000 which is actually affordable for me.

I have directly compared viewfinders on K20D and K-7 (actually, MightyMike was there and I have used his K20D -- he can further comment on my findings): the apparent size in K-7 viewfinder is NOTICEABLY larger than K20D. Very close to a film cameras in terms of perception. In contrast, K20D have more "tunnel like" effect which is almost gone in K-7.

I don't know how is magnification related to this effect, but there is no doubt that K-7 viewfinder looks larger than in K20D.

Also, K-7 viewfinder looks a bit brighter and somewhat "smoother" (that is, less "grained" compared to my *istDS and K10D).

Extremely confused. I wonder how it is possible given that 0.92x is lower than 0.95x?

But then again, the 5D MkII claims to have a 98% viewfinder, but when I took pictures with it and compared to what I was looking at in the VF, it's more like 101%.

Because 0.92 x 100% (K-7) is larger than 0.95 x 95% (K20D).

I too used to think it was related to the sensor size. But in fact, magnification is defined in relation to what the naked eyes sees, when a 50mm lens is mounted on the camera and focused at infinity.

1.00x means that the image in the viewfinder is the same size as what your other eye sees if you keep it open.

Really great info, and some fun pictures! Thanks everyone for posting them! I'll wait to hear some user reviews when it comes out, but then it is definately on my "to buy" list!
