Pentax K110D

The PENTAX K110D is a capable little camera. It is identical to the K100D expect that it lacks the shake reduction mechanism.

This is one of my favorite cameras. In ways it is superior to my K10D. I actually prefer this camera to the K10D.

Lower resolution is not a problem for me with a higher quality lens than most kit lenses.

Lack of shake reduction is not an issue as any high quality work I do is shot from some type of pod or mount along with a remote shutter release.

Rain and weather resistance is easily and inexpensively handled with a simple Rain Sleeve.

No "hot pixels" or "Christmas Lights" as the k10D is prone to. IMO not nearly as noisy at any ISO as the K10D.

AA battery power. No specialized battery so if you forget your spares you can get batteries for it anywhere.

For the price these are now available at you just cannot beat them!

Taken with a K110D on a tripod with an inexpensive Pentax FAJ 28-80mm zoom:
