It seems like camera reviews are a lot movie reviews, it best to make your own decision. I went to Netflix to see if the movie "Mall Cop" was worth renting. I saw reviews that ranged from "A Must See!!" to "I wasted a 1 1/2 hour off my life" If you like the K-7, you'll still like it whether of not your Nikon and Canon buddies will tell you it's junk.
+1. Mall Cop is a terrible movie in my opinion. I can't wait to read what real users of the K7 have to say about it.

Dpreview sucks!

Sure not in denver Don't you know we don't speak english in Miami? what is it to you anyway?

You may not speak french nor latin but here it goes:

Revised-

Etymology: Middle French reviser, from Latin revisere to look at again, frequentative of revidēre to see again, from re- + vidēre to see — more at wit
Date: 1596
transitive verb

1 a: to look over again in order to correct or improve <revise a manuscript>

source: Merrian-webster

In order to revise, something must be wrong, not the case with my k20d.

Silly argument

Also from merriam-webster.com: "reˇdeˇsign
Pronunciation: \ˌrē-di-ˈzīn\
Function: transitive verb
Date: 1856
: to revise in appearance, function, or content"

Oh, no problem here. Anything with more than zero noise or less than infinite resolution must be wrong in the eyes of a good engineer

bias? where?

I liked the review. I didn't feel it has much bias. Granted, maybe I'm biased, since the K-7 has pretty much everything I wanted in a new Pentax (save for maybe a 1/250 sync speed, but oh well!)

I've also watched some youtube video previews, and they all pretty much liked it too. 720p30f was looked at as being wonderful, as well as the idea of auto focus during video. As for lack of AF points and other "numbers" being lower than Nikon/Canon, I don't care. I'm used to it by now ;-) Also, the "negative" of using SD is fine by me, since I've invested in a bunch of high capacity/high speed SD cards already, so it's a plus for me.

Anyway, some DPreview hating. Their review of the K10D helped me purchase it, and I'm happy I did.

That's the problem with the K7; nobody can shoot anything with it yet.

I usually just look at the numbers and sample photos.
I don't even look at the sample photos as i would not be shooting the exact same thing so i can't really compare them to my results... for me its just the numbers

You're the one claiming there is some sort of problem here. I don't see it, and neither does anyone else. So that's why I bring it up.

Absolute nonsense. One can revise things things that were fine initially. Some revisions result in improvement, others have the opposite effect. Some rvisions involve *major* changes, others involve only *minor*.

There are indeed aspects of the K20D sensor that could be improved upon. Whether one calls those improvements revisions or redesigns is immaterial. Feel free to imagine that calling it it one instead of the other (I've already forgotten which you think is right and which you think is wrong) is a travesty if that makes you happy. That won't make it so, however.
