Any details on the GX30?
Sounds like they've gone their separate ways from just rebranding Pentax dSLRs...

Since Pentax decided to rename their new camera to show that it is a vastly different product and line of thinking it wouldn't make sense for Samsung to rebrand the K-7 as a GX30. Perhaps it is a re-hash of the K20D with the new sensor and all the nice extras you get with it? Maybe a K20D Super or something?

I have no idea about the features on these cameras.
The GX30 could be same to K-7 but with a different design (like GX20).

All I know about WB700/HZ30W will use a CMOS 1/1.8" instead a CCD 1/2.33" sensor.

Perhaps Pentax sold some of the KxxD design elements (patents, etc) to Samsung for use as a starting platform on which to base its own DSLR development.

Thus there is no K30D (Samsung owns it) - and the K-7 is truly a departure for Pentax.
