I have a hard time telling anything from those little web photos, but the video looked really good. Well, good for something on YouTube I guess.

I found clicking the link below the video gave a much faster download, for those of us that aren't in Japan anyway.

I thought the video looked very good even for a compressed sample! I think the quality of the k7 video will be just fine, at least for me.

Hmmm... does anyone else find it odd that the majority of the pictures have some pretty biased exposure comp's plugged in? The last shot has a two stop underexposure dialed in.

One of the features in the K-7 that I'm interested in is the new metering system. If these shots are any indication of what will end up in the final product it seems the metering system might not be as big of an improvement as I'd hoped. By improvement I mean a metering system that can be "forgiving" for my lack of using the proper metering technique at times.

these photos are those showing in the road show in JP.
I think some other photos from 中井 精也 are better (but not showing in the web).
FYI, You may check his blog ????????1?1???powered by ????
He is an expert in shooting railroad in JP. very impressive IMO.

Some of those prints were indeed at the launch of the k-7 in Tokyo.
Not all of them, but they had some of the prints on display, and they were very good blown up.

Video looks good from that link, but I feel I'd hardly ever use it...perhaps.

If I may add my 2 cents here, yep reaching under the sofa I found two cents and a few dimes nickles and quarters.

My K7 arrives within the next week or so according to my shipping information. Why is it that one can not be patient enough for the real world images and video?
