Memory Cards for *ist DS

I have an *ist DS being delivered sometime next week & would like to know if a camera of this age (though it has the latest firmware update to allow SDHC cards) would benefit from the speed of a Sandisk Extreme lll card, or would a Sandisk Ultra ll or standard Sandisk suffice just as well?

I just asked the same question a few days ago. My *ist DS works with 16GB and it just shows that there's 999 photos.

*ist DS won't take advantage of cards faster than 66x. By the way, my experience is that Lexar cards somehow work better with Pentax DSLRs. I had Lexar Platinum and Sandisk Ultra II, *ist DS was able to write slightly faster with Lexar card. And in K20D Lexar Professional outperforms Sandisk Extreme III.

Another poster has said 66X, I understood it was 50X. Either way, unless you plug your camera into your USB port (which sucks massive camera battery power), a faster card is really nice when uploading to your computer.
