Thanks you! It seems I do a lot of high ISO lately, so I appreciate what the camera can do.

The K-x really impressed me with it's performance at ISO 6400.
Here is a picture of my roommate playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Wii.

Shot RAW and processed using only Lightroom 3.4.

DA*50-135 @ 103mm f/2.8 1/80

I can't wait to get this thing out to Burning Man this year (The one event out of the whole year that I really plan for and look forward to photographing.) For BM 2010 I only had my K-x for about a month, and was unsure of going over ISO 800.

ISO 2000 with the K-x

I struggled mightily with AF in this dimly lit room, even with the focus assist of the Metz 58.

Which lens is that? And did you use the flash only for AF assist?

Camera Pentax K-x
Exposure 0.025 sec (1/40)
Aperture f/3.2
Focal Length 50 mm
ISO Speed 2000
Exposure Bias 0 EV
Flash On, Fired

It was the DA*16-50 F2.8.

I pushed the ISO and dragged the shutter as much as practical in order to capture as much ambient light as possible, while relying on the flash to freeze the action. Camera was set to full manual with flash set to PTTL.
