For those wondering what the dog favours sport-wise, I'm not sure it's at the Olympics yet.....

ISO 400, so shouldn't really be here I know ;-)

That said I do find the best way to get action shots like these is to bump up the ISO to get good DOF and shutter speed.

I was up at a friend's cottage the other day. It's the 10-17mm FE at 15mm f4 ISO3200.

Not my best picture but definitely my first attempt at portrait + long exposure landscape

Wow, you make my K5 vs K30 debate very difficult. Very nice work!

Thank you. Though i am not sure that 99.9% of the time, anyone would be able to tell the difference between the K30 and K5 photos. I am looking to get a K30 as a backup with extra uses for video but more importantly, practically the same image quality in low light. I shoot a few events each year that warrant the need for great iso performance, then i also shoot some video for bands that i could really use the 60fps video.

Here is another shot with a crop of the same photo to show the detail and how clean the iso3200 is, only treated in lightroom 3, these are real world photos at night in a cocktail lounge with dim available lighting, no flash. Very happy with the K5 and am not afraid to push it cause it can totally handle it
