Has anyone else found that shooting with the K20D through remote assistant (using 3.51) at an exposure longer then 0.7 seconds in RAW causes the software to freeze ?

Seems like a big bug

Is it freezing, or is the transfer time long enough that it appears to be freezing?

If you do a search you will find that there are numerous complaints about Remote Assistance. Mostly freezes, it is very poorly written software.

I have problems as well with it on my laptop, on my home PC I have fewer problems. It will run on the laptop, but more often than I like it will lock up

. Its always during transfer and seems to be some kind of infinite loop with no break.

BTW I did not know it was full of bugs either, this is the first time I have read of it. Too bad, its a very handy program when it works. And I just did a test with a RAW file longer than one second and it did not lock up on my laptop. But it will sooner than latter I have found its best to format the card before hooking it up, it seems to give fewer problem ?. However the RAW >.07sec transfer alone is not a bug, its full of bugs.
