K200d flash and custom wb

This may be an easy question to answer but when I use the pop up flash w/ the K200 it defaults to flash WB... Didn't see anything in the manual re: this but didn't read the whole thing.
Is this really how it works? Seems odd and doesn't seem to depend on "mode" used.

There is an option in the Menu -> Custom Setting (C) -> Wb when using Flash -> Change that to unchanged
