K20 Auto-bracketing

Is there any way to get the mirror to lock-up and not cycle during the 3/5 auto-bracket shots? I would have thought the one-press option would do this, apparently not.

Closest thing to mirror-up bracketing that I've been able to figure out is to use the 2 sec. self timer but I've always heard that it takes more than a couple of sec. (5-6?) to get the camera to "settle down" after the mirror slaps up. Never tried the 10 sec. self-timer to see if it works for bracketing but I don't think I'd have the patience...that would be nearly a minute to take a series of 5 shots using the 10" timer.

I think it does.
I did it unintentionaly the other day

You go to Rec Mode tab, then choose Extended Bracket, then turn it on.
The camera takes 3 photos without mirror "moving".

Thanks...I think extended brackets are for things other than exposure, and JPG only.

I've been using the 2 sec delay. You'd think with the longer exposures in bracketing, that they would mirror-up once...especially with the mini-earthquake from it...
