Today I have seen reports from Australia, US and Canada about K-7 which has arrived. It was in Japan last weekend and somewhere in Asia (Singapore? Hong Kong?) in the middle of the week.

Has no one heard nothing about it in Europe?

I would have actually expected all available to have been pre-ordered/reserved. So only 35 sold in the whole country within the first day(s)?

It's all rumor though.

Hi all,
I think it will be the same thing than the last time for the K10D: at the beginning, out of stock because of its successful release.
I hope it will get a long life span - enough life span to get one copy!!

Stores are reported as having stock in other Australian states, maybe Europe will miss out

As soon as it comes to the UK I would expect SRS to be the first to get stock but I am a little surprised that its seemingly reached the US and Australia before Europe.

I heard of a few in EU who already got their K-7 (regular ones, I mean).

Incorrect information, DCW in Melbourne had pre-orders for 50 and received enough stock to fill all orders. There is an image available on another site showing Van Bar employees behind a stack of K-7 boxes of whcih I estimate about 40 units. So that is simply two Melbourne stores so I would expect Australia received a good deal more than 70 units.

I hope all who are still waiting get their cameras soon, it is an awesome camera.

It's gone one week since this thread started and I have still not seen a single post in any forum about European deliveries? What is going on?

It seems SRS has them, and there is a thread on DPR with a French guy reporting his receiving his K-7 from a local store. Here in Belgium the distributor mentioned they will be receiving their batch on 15 July.

All OK with Europe, Lithuania have K-7 in stock.
I have my K-7 almost 2 days

Pentax Europe realy has them, maybe problems with your local distributor in Norway

Romania dealer has the K7 in stock as today (just got their email).
