This is obviously one of those features which is a matter of taste - having many times pulled my k20d out to get a quick shot only to find my default setting (Av) and been turned to something bizarre like TAv , I'm looking forward to it being positively locked in place. I use Av 95% of the time, and otherwise it's set to M or B, or now (soon) 00< (or however you draw that little movie camera )

I agree... it does not take long to get the hang of it and I too use AV 95%... my other will be turning to video.

It is a much needed feature
