K20D Sdhc Card question

gday guys picked up a new K20D today for my bro put a 16gig card in it from my other 20d it reads same amount of files from my camera i both formated it on pc and in camera and it still looks like this IMGP4225 now i thought it would read IMGP0001 as being first pic taken on the camera any ideas ?

If you want it to go to 0001 you need to set Menu > Rec. Mode > Memory > File No. to unchecked, then place an empty card in the camera and it will reset to IMGP0001. I wanted my numbering to match the actuations so I put one JPG and renamed it with the number of actuations then snapped one JPG, then went back into Menu > Rec. Mode> Memory > File No. and re checked it.
