Is this dust in lens or on sensor?

Here are a couple of sample shots of what I'm referring to. In the 1st shot you can see 3 spots below the subject and in the middle of the pic. In the 2nd shot, you can see 3 spots in the top left of the pic. I was using a K10d and Tamron 28-300mm at 300mm. The spots in both pics are magnified because I cropped the pics to reduce file size for upload but they are readily noticible in the original also. I'm hoping its not the sensor. Any thoughts? Thanks

Yeah, dustie dustie... On the sensor.
You will get sensor dirt always on the same place when checking the image. better seen when use a small aperture
Try to blow it...
The lens dust has little influence.

I think sensor, I had the same problem, got the mirror up and cleaned it
