saw the advert in the Age 'green guide' today and I interpret it as $1999 for the K7 and 18-55WR. The ** refers to how they counted the 100 weather seals. I'd buy one if it included everything!

But then again some places (eg DCW) have the K7 + 18-55WR listed at about $1759, so how much is the K7 battery grip going to retail for? If it's going to cost about $250 then the 'package' as advertised of body+lens+battery grip for $1999 aint such a great deal anyhow.

you need to throw in a 50-200WR into the equation as well, which would make the $1999 deal a deal!

Sorry guys the ads gone and so is the scan basically its a

K7 with battery grip and choice of either DA 18-55mm AL WR Or 55-200 ED WR.Im thinking that both lenses are Weather resistance,so for under $2K it worth it IMHO

PS Its available at TED's cameraworld etc

The battery grip on its own is approx $400

I still believe you are reading the ad wrong cupic.

I bet if you walked into Teds and said "give me a Pentax k7 + battery grip + the 55-200mm WR lens package pls for $1999" they wouldn't know what you are talking about.

I'd try it myself but there is no Teds near me. And there is nothing about such a package deal on their site. Ditto DCW's site, and DCW are directly mentioned in the ad as an outlet. Cameraworld don't even list any Pentax DSLR's on their site.

Etc. I'd like to be proven wrong though.

Pity though.

Nikon now has promotions running on the D90 ($200 off) and D5000 (up to $200 off), Canon has promotions going for its DSLR's now too.

CR Kennedy should offer this deal for real.

Maybe towards Xmas...
