Mirror lens (telescope I should say) .
Never seen a 1488 f/6.3 In fact that almost beats the Canon 1200 f/5.6 (that only has 10 copies in the world!), although the type of lens is different.
K-7 video definitely is amazing though. Thanks for the upload!

I have a 2000mm F5, 175 pound, 8 feet long, tube inside diameter 19.5 inches.

I use an T-42 adapter to k mount.

Also here is a picture of one of our club scopes,( Meade 16", 4000mm F10)

Nice,

I checked your link. Nice equipment. I am a 18 year member of the RASC Edmonton. I used to own a Meade 8" F10 but build myself a 16"F5 dob with tracking table in late 90. I tried some imaging with Meade scope using focal reducer, eyepiece projection for planets and Pentax K1000 but found direct observing more interesting.

Is it me, or does hte video look jumpy? Like the frame rate isn't fast enough? I thought it shoots at 30fps, that should be plenty.

It must be your computer because the video is not jumpy on my 2.26Ghz Core 2 Duo Mac Mini with 4GB DDR3 Ram and Nvidia 9400 video chip. Try downloading a source file from Vimeo after you register (free).
