K-7 AF Performance

There have been a number of threads pointing to the K-7's AF speed vs. that of the slower-focusing K20D; in addition to these generally subjective comparisons,* falconeye did a nice study showing the K-7 (in pre-production form) to focus at about the same rate as the K2000/Km.

However, I've seen no data regarding the AF speed of a K-7 compared with those of likely competitors such as Nikon's D90 or D300 or Canon's 50D. Anybody else run across such a quantitative comparison of AF speed between one or more of these cameras with a K-7?

Thanks,

Jer

*I vaguely recall seeing a quantitative comparison of AF speed of a pre-production K-7 and K20D, but can't remember the method or the outcome.
