Interesting discussion. I have a similar issue with the K-7; it doesn't do the compensation that others guessed at for the camera in this thread.

It is possible to set a lens-per-lens adjustment, but not for M42 lenses because the camera doesn't know what is is. Shame there's no "user-set memory" setting in there.
