K-x tag

I haven't seen anyone with a K-x tag, so I made one:

adam,
i can get one picture inserted but when i use the code that you provided for 2, i just get the url text.
i'd like to replace the k20 with the k-x url but that doesn't work either.
im going for the k10d and k-x top to bottom. any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem. I couldn't use IMG tag on my signature but can use IMGWIDE tag, and the result is a stretched and enlarged k20d-signature-tag-gif

This might be related to the absent of "Insert Image" icon at the Edit Signature textarea / textbox(?). Unlike the "Reply to thread" textbox, there's no "Insert Image" but only "Wrap IMGWIDE tags around text" icon. Just guessing.

I solved the problem by following this instruction by macke. Thanks macke!
Except that, instead of using Option 2, I use Option 1 and simply copy paste the URL from the tag and press Upload.

Mod, please update the instruction in the first page because the one there doesn't work any longer.

Hey, I'm sure I had more trouble than most, but I couldn't see where to actually edit my signature, never mind adding an image. But I figured it out (I believe):
- Click "User CP", third button from right atop every page in the forum
- Under Profile, Edit Signature

To add one of these fancy camera tags, my method:
- Pick one from this thread, and right click it
- Save Picture As... to your machine
- Edit Signature (per above)
- In the Signature Picture section, Upload Signature Picture using Option 2, point to file saved above
- Hit Upload
- Still in the Signature Picture section, Your Current Signature Picture, hit Insert Signature Picture
- In the Edit Signature section, fine tune as desired.
- Hit Save Signature

Of course, if you don’t see my K200D signature below, perhaps you should take this all with a big grain of salt.

You're getting this problem because regular forum members can't have linked images in their signatures. This is why you have to use the sigpic functionality, which is self-explanatory and found in your User CP. Multiple tags will have to be stitched together into one image, which is not to exceed 500x100 pixels.

I've updated the first post of this thread with the K-x tags.

Please post any further tech support questions in the site help forum, as I don't monitor this thread regularly.

well.....How do I attach the tag?
I tried to get the direct link to the image on this thread to work and could not. Kept getting an error message. So I used the following steps:

Find the picture for your camera.

Right click the image.(If on a Mac, hold the Control key down while clicking on the image) In the resulting pop-up window you will see either "Save Image As" or "Download Image to" or something similar depending on your web browser. Remember where you save the image!

In your User Control Panel choose Edit Signature:

Under Option 2, click on the Choose File button.

On your computer, find the file you've downloaded. Click the Open button.

The system will place some tags in your Signature editing box. I wanted the banner after my name and web link so I copied and pasted them to the bottom.

Click Save Signature on the bottom of the page. You should be set.

Pentax Honeywell ESII??

i bought my grandfather's ESII from his estate along with all his super takumar lenses and i've been a pentaxian loyalist ever since, could you make me an ESII tag or should I just use the spotmatic tag? I'm probably the only person still using the ESII but I love it.
