I don't shoot for living, and if I did - I would have had to cut my losses for the business already to survive and likely gone Nikon.

Frankly, I'm always amazed that people bother with Pentax at all if they aren't going to use Pentax glass.
There isn't much reason to use the brand if you are using third party glass. The competitors bodies do seem to be better.
But it not my place to judge, I suppose. We get to waste our money as we see fit.
FWIW, I have over 2000 exposures on my K7 with no imaging issues at all. No green lines, no purple splots, no problems at all. I read the bitching and whining threads and wonder what the hell you people are on about. If your camera doesn't work, get it exchanged for one that does work.
This isn't rocket science.
