K-7 Focus assist light

In the time I've had the K-7, I haven't been able to activate the light at all.
I have is set properly in the menu.

Anyone else have the problem? Should it illuminate whatever lens you use?

Other than this, I'm very pleased with the camera, and don't really want to return it.

Take you camera off AF-C put it on AF-S. Had me panicking for a while too! Doesn't go in AF-C.
