k20d Lifeview Focus problem

Focus during lifeview state doesn't work at all neither at selective nor auto focusing..
At normal shooting works..
A slight fall may be responsible for it?

No problem here as K20D LV is really very basic (prefer DOF view instead of it and use LV mainly to demonstrate to nay-sayers how SR works with long glass) :-)

What button do you press to activate AF on LV?
I assume you already know that the AF on LV can only be activated using the AF button at the back side.
It's kind of slower but it works.
Just press the AF button a little bit longer and the camera will try to lock focus. Make sure there is enough contrast on the target.

I asked the same question some time ago. AF DOES work with Live view, however, it will not work by half-pressing the shutter. Go figure why. In live view, you press and hold the AF button and the camera will AF then return to Live View.

I really think the people at Pentax developped Live view on the K20D thinking mainly about macro shooters, which kind of makes sense. But I would have prefered to have contrast AF (the K7D does that I think?) or at least link AF with the shutter.
