In the great outdoors

First.. Thanks to you all for participating in the "guessing game" regarding my problem.
* No battery grip.
* Many of the effected photos are taken out in the woods. No cell phones near by,
one or two miles from the nearest mast.

The camera can take photos without these patterns. So..
A - The fult is intermittent.
B - Triggered from an outside source. Radio, magnetics, solar bursts
C - Triggered by colors or patterns in the motif.

Returned from service

The main pcb was replaced without further comment or cost.
So far, so good. I wonder if they just replaced it without really
knowing what was wrong. I think I´ll mail them. I´m curious.

Pentax serviceparter is not going to investigate this further.
My guess is that it´s cheaper to replace the whole thing than
having someone to go SCI on the thing.
